TV Show, Web Site, and DVD
"Challenge in the Hills" was our first off road event and still one of our favorites. We hope you like it too because it is all over our shows this week. "The Hillbilly Proud Off Road Show" season 2 continues on Clarksburg's Fox 10 this week with mud bogging and sand drag racing video from "Challenge in the Hills" 2005 and 2006. The second season of the show will take viewers through the progression of Hillbilly Proud from 2005 to present. We will be showing our first DVDs this season mixed with newer videos off the website. This week the show will wrap up the "Challenge in the Hills 2005" DVD and start the next in our DVD series which is "Challenge in the 2006 / The West Virginia River Series."
We are also happy to announce that our show will start running locally in the Morgantown, WV area on Comcast channel 3 Saturdays at 11:30 am. The show starts airing this week with show 1 from series 1 featuring "Challenge in the Hills" 2008 and Mountaineer Off Road wheeling though the mountains of Swiss, WV. Comcast subscribers already get the show on Fox Sundays at 11:00. This second time slot will give those who go to church a chance to see the show.Our website still has some bugs but we have come a long way in the last couple of months. The next step will be the uploading of a lot more of our videos. The site had a ton more video up before the switch over. We will also be working to make the video section easier to navigate. There is a lot more to come.
Hillbilly Proud will begin post production this week on a DVD for Rich and the guys at Pro Truck Nationals. We covered all four races in the sand drag racing series last year and we will put it all on one DVD. Once the DVD editing is done we will be sending it to the guys at PTN for final packaging. Currently we are spending most of our time editing the show and working on the website so this may be the only multi event DVD we release this year. We have recently started offering event DVDs for the first time. The event DVDs feature all the video from each event we cover in the same form as you find them on the website.
