GRAVELRAMA!
Gravelrama
was a huge event held August 23 through August 27, 2007 outside
of Cincinnati, OH in Cleves, OH. Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky(I.O.K.)
Four Wheelers have held the event there for 37 years now.
Enjoy this short video of Hill Climbing, Hill Drag Races,
Sand Drag Races, and 4x4 Obstacle Course driving. The Hill
Climb on Sunday is the obvious crowd favorite as competitors
try and power their awesome machines up and over a hill of
small gravel. There are more internet videos to come and
Gravelrama will also be included on a DVD to be released
at the end of 2007 or beginning of 2008.

Dogs Off Road
Crawling
the Bunny Section at Big Dogs Off Road events in Gore, VA
is a bit harder than it sounds. This video includes two rigs
rock crawling around the Bunny Section during Big Dogs' "Spring
Fling". Hillbilly Proud will be headed back
to Big Dog's for their Main Event held September 14-16.

Shannon
Campbell at WE ROCK!
Shannon
Campbell is well known for his ability to attack rock crawling
courses. Here we find Shannon with his spotter and brother
Nick Campbell tearing up the final shoot out course at WE
ROCK's (World Extreme Rock Crawling Championship Series)
Eastern US Nationals Finale at Rausch Creek Off Road Park,
PA. During the two day event competitors were challenged
by twelve different obstacle courses, and for the first time
the courses were half natural and half man made. Hillbilly
Proud would like to thank all involved with WE ROCK and Rausch
Creek for their hospitality and the incredible time they
showed us. Music by Treasure
Cat.

Truck
Pull
Lucas Oil East Coast Truck and
Tractor Pull Series pulled into Winchester,
VA on June 22 and Hillbilly Proud was there
to capture the action. Five classes of
competitors were represented in a full
evening of action that will be on our next
DVD, "Mud Nation". We tried a
little something different with the music
for this video. Roy Brewer of Treasure
Cat provides a hard beating drum soundtrack
that he put down while watching the video
on a screen set up in front of his drums.

MOUNTAIN
FEST
Morgantown
WV's Mountainfest Motorcycle Rally brings so many events
to town it is ridiculous: the WV Championship Bass Tournament,
multiple music venues, camping, bike builder's displays,
vintage bike display and races, vendors galore, huge fireworks,
stunt bikers, and I'm getting tired of writing so I give
up on listing them all. Of course, it is these incredible
mountains and hills and their curvy roads that are the
main attraction for the steel horses. Hillbilly Proud's
coverage consist of three videos of the weekend. The first
is a video of both the parade downtown and the bike builder's
displays at Mylan Park. When we saw the colors on Temple
of Steel's "Crusader", we knew it had to venture
outside for a sunset shoot that concludes the video. The
second video includes the vintage bike display hosted by
Waterfront Place Hotel and the Vintage Bike Grand Prix
held in the Wharf District. The video is only ten minutes
long, but if we had the time we would have shot each one
of these beautiful pieces of shinning artwork all day.
The Grand Prix was a blast. Watch these old bikes running
and sounding as good as they look. Saturday night's firework
display makes the entirety of the third video. The blast
of sound and light went on for a good twenty four minutes.
Hillbilly Proud has condensed the fireworks into a five
minute display with a cool minute long slow motion section.
The awesome camera angle comes from Dorsey's Knob Park.
From the park's elevation you are looking across the Morgantown
horizon at the fireworks instead of up into the sky. Mountainfest
was once again a great success, and we hope it keeps coming
back to our city year after year.

Lewis
and Wirt County Fairs
The
latest video update from Hillbilly Proud is of two county
fair mud bogs here in the state of West Virginia. First
up is the Lewis County Fair Mud Bog held August 3rd at
Jackson's Mill, childhood home of Gen. Stonewall Jackson.
What better place to let the mud fly. The pit at the Lewis
County Fair was deep and challenging and the video of the
night is great for you out there that love the bogging.
Elizabeth, WV played host to The Wirt County Fair Mud Bog
on August 11th. The pit at the Wirt County Fair was a deep
speed pit for most of the day, but as night fell the crew
went to work and made the pit a deep bogging hole. Fans
of the faster runs in mud racing will love these videos,
plus enjoy the bogging footage at the end to round it out.
Thanks to the organizers of both fairs for recruiting our
participation.
