Hillbilly Proud headed to Orr's Farmers Market in Martinsburg, WV on November 6, 2021 for their first 4 Wheel and Off-Road Truck Show. It was a cold morning but quite a few trucks still showed up and there was no shortage of awesome rides to look at including show trucks, mud trucks, jeeps, rock crawlers, rat rods, classic trucks and more. There was plenty to do including the pumpkin patch for kids, food vendors, and the market. We hope they have this event for years to come.
The TSMRA held their final race of the season at Upper West Fork Park in Chloe, WV on October 9, 2021. It was a hot October day in Calhoun County with plenty of racing and fun for the kids. The day included a truck or treat, Power Wheels racing, the kids foot race, and mud racing in both the speed and mud pit. We had a great time and are very thankful for all the racing the TSMRA provides us with.
Hillbilly Proud headed to Maniac Mountain Haunted House and Event Park on October 2, 2021 for some fun in the mud and dirt. The rails started the day flying down the dirt track before some heads up drag racing in the other classes. The racing was great to watch and there was a little bit of mud bogging in the mud pit to end the day. This is a new track location that started up this year and we hope they can grow it into something great. Be sure to check out their Haunted House every Friday and Saturday from 7:00 until midnight.
Lewis Co. Fair made a triumphant return after a four year hiatus and we were excited to be back. Located at Jackson's Mill outside of Weston, WV it is the closest location for us to get to from our home base in Jane Lew, WV. Hillbilly Proud covered both the mud racing and burnout competition on September 25, 2021. The rails and fast trucks made easy work of the speed pit and the mud pit wasn't much more of an obstacle. The burnout competition was a highlight that day with some amazing rides putting on a great show for the crowd. We hope the Lewis Co. Fair is back to stay and we really appreciate them having us!
Hillbilly Proud headed to Roane County, WV for the second time this year on September 18, 2021 for the TSMRA Reedy Mud Bog. The speed pit started the day with many fast runs from the hot trucks across the shallow pit. The mud pit was next. The mud pit started with several rails and trucks going across the top but once the trucks started digging in the mud it was a different story. Only a few trucks made it to the end in the last classes as the thick mud stopped one truck after another. It was another beautiful day of racing and we were thankful to be there.
The pit at Tri County 4 Wheelers in Lisbon, OH on September 12, 2021 in Lisbon, OH was perfect to challenge every truck that tried to make it through. Truck after truck had to give it all they had to try and make it through. Some made it and some didn't. It was a wonderful day with great mud, great people, and great weather.
Hillbilly Proud headed to West Virginia's northern panhandle to cover the Brooke County Fair Mud Bog in Wellsburg on September 11, 2021. It was good to see several trucks we haven't seen in a while and none of them had any trouble with the pit. The. pit was shallower than usual but the mud was still flying at Brooke Hills Park. The perfect weather and great people made for a wonderful day of racing.
The rain threatened but held off most of the day in Marlinton, WV where the Hillbilly Hollow Motorsports Mud Race was being held on September 5, 2021. Most of the day's racing was the fast trucks in the speed pit, which we have labeled Dirt Road Racing. The mud pit racing came as the day turned to night and the rain finally began. Another great day of racing with the Hillbilly Hollow crew.
It was another awesome year at the Tucker Co. Fair Mud Bog in Parsons, WV. We headed into the mountains on August 28, 2021 for a hot day full of hot mud racing. So many nice trucks from all over run at this fair every year and we love it. Videos include the truck racing, 4 wheeler mudding, side by side mudding, kids atv mud bog, and the kids mud foot race.
We headed out Linger Run near Weston, WV for the Havoc in the Hills Mud Bog on August 14, 2021. Their two races each year are ones we never miss. The morning started with storms but by race time the weather was perfect with a nice cool summer breeze. The truck count was down a bit but they put on an awesome show. The pit got rough and it sent the trucks flying and the wheels and tires started coming right off. It was an awesome evening of racing and hanging out with our racing family.
The Braxton County Fair Mud Bog was held on August 7, 2021 in Flatwoods, WV. The day included a mud pit and a deep pit bog. The mud pit started with deeper mud than expected stopping trucks that never get stuck so mud was removed in between the first two classes. The action in the first pit lasted well into the evening with around 150 runs before switching over to the deep pit. The deep pit was formidable with only two rigs going across it to start and then every other truck having no luck getting very far. We had a great time in Braxton County and hope you enjoy the videos.
Jackson Co. Jr. Fair in Cottageville, WV outside of Ripley is always one of the biggest fairs that we make it to every year. The huge crowds fill the hill side and both sides of the track for the mud bog on Friday and the truck and tractor pull on Saturday. We shot both days and had a blast covering all the action with nearly 200 runs through the mud and well over 100 pulls. We hope you have as much fun watching the videos as we did shooting them.
Another year for Flag Wars at Hidden Valley Mud Bog and another awesome race. Racers came to Glen Daniel, WV on July 24, 2021 from all around to compete with the best of the best and they put on a great show. The day started with the Mega Trucks running out the mud pit back around to a jump and through the speed pit. It is always awesome to watch these big trucks in action. Next up was the speed pit which concluded with the rails which after a short break were the first racers to run the mud pit. Vic King has run Thumper three times so far this season and set a track record each run. The day ran into night and the show was great till the end. Looking forward to next year already.
The pit at the Tri County 4 Wheelers Mud Bog in Lisbon, OH on July 11, 2021 started with mud that was very thick and challenging. A long lasting down pour turned it into a water pit that the trucks churned up into a soupy mud as the day went on. The pit was always changing but always challenging. We really enjoyed watching all the drivers giving it a go.
Hillbilly Proud headed to Muddy Holler Motorsports in Blue Rock, OH for their Freedom Mud Bog and Mud Drag on July 3, 2021. The day was filled with all kinds of fun things for the kids to do from the kids foot race and bounce house to the fireworks that ended the day. Then of course there was the mud racing in three pits of variable depths and plenty of classes that gave everyone from the rails to side by sides a chance. It was a beautiful day in Ohio and we all had a blast.
Hillbilly Proud covered the TSMRA (Tri State Mud Racing Association) Reedy Mud Bog in Reedy, WV on June 26, 2021. It was a hot day of racing in more ways than one. The day began with the blistering fast rails and trucks in the Speed Pit and then continued on to the Deep Pit. The Deep Pit ran well into the evening with a lot of awesome trucks plowing through the mud. We had a great time in Reedy as always and hope you enjoy the videos.

Challenge in the Hills in Parsons, WV is always one of our favorite events. We didn't make the sand drags on Saturday but we did make it to the mud bog on Sunday May 30. It was a great day to watch the mud fly!
Mountain Mayhem! We don't get a chance to cover very many rock crawling competitions now days, but we're sure glad we were at Good Evening Ranch Off Road Park in Canvas, WV when the XRock Extreme Rock Crawling crew showed up on May 15, 2021. They put on a great show!
Hillbilly Proud hit the first race of our off road season at the Steve Lewis Race at Swampstock Mud Boggs in Coolville, OH on May 1, 2021. Such a great event to break in the season.
